might as well get some stuff done while we wait for the ita.
we’ll need to send in passports, birth and marriage certificates, university transcripts and diplomas. everything you submit needs to be an original or a “certified copy” so much of the day was spent filling out and sending off request forms.
based on posts from other us applicants to the nz emigration forum it seems that a “certified copy” means a copy with an attached notarized letter stating that i am who i am and that i made the copy in their presence. so down to the basement to find the framed diplomas, crack open the frames and get everything ready for a trip to the ups store. [doh – ups store closed on sundays and monday is a holiday (although not for me…)]
